As Live as it Gets

Being the addictive personality that I am, with a touch of OCD you had to know I couldn't do just one.

The Big Fat Black Thing has his acting debut, doing what he does best, reclining. There is a cameo appearance at the end by the One Eyed Cat with a Cataract.

You can see the Tree that Saved Itself in the background at the far end of the deck.

If only I could put these compulsions to better use.

Greyman and Darkie are so cute. Are those guys going to come over with you to live on the mountain too?

If so, do any of the airlines allow you to take pets in carriers into the cabin with you -- or do they still have to travel in the cargo hold?

Greyman and Darkie are 16 and 17 respectively. They will be staying in Hawaii, the land of their birth where they belong. The hard decision about how that is to occur is being put off until the last possible moment.

I pray that nature takes its course quickly.

Yeah -- At their age, flying in the cargo hold would probably cause nature to take its course too quickly anyway.

Maybe a few months before you leave, you can take them to one of these two places: HCF Kahaluu Cat Sanctuary
or
The East Maui Animal Refuge.

Either way, do you think you would be able to visit either of those animal sanctuaries before you leave, so you can do a post or two on them -- complete with photos and/or video(s)? I love animal sanctuaries -- both the domestic and wildlife sanctuaries.

Sanctuary is one option with a hefty donation most likely.
