Life Forms
They are interesting to the naked eye. Close-up and magnified they take on a new dimension. There is now an other worldly quality about them.
They look like watermelons artfully displayed. Because I know them, they also look like little green bombs. At a certain point this pod is going to violently eject the cargo contained inside with an audible snap!

It is the seed pods and flower stems of Jatropha podagrica.
