Green Textures

After a few hours of maintenance, Picasa and Blogger are talking to each other again and the cursed red X's are gone and the pictures have returned.

I have been feeling a little green, a little split up and prickly.

Kind of stiff too. Things are not bending like they should.

Maybe even a little grey

A thousand different things to do. A thousand things to think about getting done.

It all seems to be coming together smoothly.

And then it splits up again into a thousand things. It looks soft, but has a pungent scent.

Then a whole new shape with rough edges appears. It has a very strong sweet lemony scent.

The edges smooth out. A little color is added.

It is very similar to the beginning. It has the same layout.
But it is a completely new and different thing.

Cool, green is my favorite color.

Not only do you go to the heart of the living green plants, but you blend poetry with their images.

I like this series of foliage photos. We garden bloggers usually focus on flowers, so it's nice for a change to see some close-ups of green leaves.

Glad you all like the nice green foliage.

I love how your thoughts tie together the string of pictures so well, Christopher.

Your words makes me want to give you a hug, too--but in the absence of that I'll just say to take a deep breath, and it will all come together soon. Hopefully as wonderfully as this post did. :)

Thanks for the cyber hug Kim. Next week is my last week of "work" and then I turn my landscaping business over to the new owner.

I'll have the entire month of May to get rid of a nursery and 20 years of accumulated stuff. A non-stop garage sale.

This is great - mood plants, like those old mood rings. Perhaps we should have a plant that we stick on our front porches that warns folks that knock on our doors what they might run into! Today mine would definitely have been prickly.
