Gray

Same slice of sky different day. Looking and feeling gray.

My first thought, sitting here adjusting my heat in the long long long dark EARLY evening, was "so... some cat in Hawaii thinks he has a grey day." However, I scrolled down to BLUE.

Yep. I see it now.

Very nice idea.

Gray has now turned to rain again which is a blessing not a lament. I should be able to get Red, Orange and Pink out of this slice of sky at some point.

I like this idea too. Both your gray and blue seascapes are equally soothing to look at. Since I don't have a monochromatic scene available to photograph right now (unless the black of night would qualify), I borrowed one off the net that shows a scene from my neck of the woods that I think fits in with this theme. Here's one from Hampton Beach, NH -- roughly one hour northeast of where I live:

Gold

Although I LOVE sunset, and wither at sunrise just like a vampire -- I can't fool myself that this one is of sunset, since it's the East coast.

Like I've told you before, I envy your beautiful sunset view. I'm looking forward to seeing your Red, Orange, and Pink seascapes too.

My sunrise view which can be as good or better than sunset is filled with wires unless I walk up the drive to the street.

No sunset tonight, just a long long long fade into a gentle pattering of Black.
